What You’ll Actually Be Doing
This isn’t a desk-only PM job — you’re the person who makes sure a multi-crore piece of fab equipment actually gets connected to gases, chemicals, ultra-pure water, and power, and is ready to run.
- Safety leadership — modelling “Safety First” behaviour on-site, pushing toward zero incidents
- Cross-functional coordination — the bridge between Facilities Construction, Site Logistics, AMHS teams, and the Hookup Design Team
- Full project lifecycle ownership — from initial planning right through equipment sign-off and turnover
- Schedule & budget control — using Primavera P6 or MS Project, with formal change-control for scope deviations
- Design & QA review — approving hookup designs, engineering drawings, and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Risk mitigation — spotting problems early and building recovery plans when things slip
- Field leadership — running on-site teams and contractors, checking cleanroom-standard installation quality
Eligibility & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or Construction Management
- 5–8+ years direct experience in semiconductor construction or tool hookup PM work
- Strong ability to read P&IDs, blueprints, and technical specs
- Deep knowledge of fab utility systems — process water/drains, specialty gases/chemicals, high-purity piping, electrical & I&C
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 or PM Web; familiarity with Navisworks/BIM for clash detection
- Strong problem-solving, contractor mediation, and people-management skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced international startup environment or high-volume manufacturing ramp-up
