✅ Eligibility / पात्रता
- 🎂 Age / आयु: Minimum 21 years on 01 July 2026; maximum age 62 years. Applications without a date of birth, or from candidates above 62 on 01.07.2026, will not be accepted. The date of birth on the High School or equivalent certificate is the only valid proof.
- 🎓 Graduation / स्नातक: Bachelor’s degree with the relevant subject and minimum 50% marks, or a Master’s degree with minimum 45% marks, from a recognised university or institution.
- 📚 B.Ed / प्रशिक्षण: B.Ed degree from an NCTE-recognised course (B.P.Ed or B.P.E. for Physical Education).
- 📝 TET / शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा: Pass the Teacher Eligibility Test for the upper primary level (Class 6 to 8), conducted by the UP Government or the Government of India. A valid TET certificate must be held up to 30 June 2027.
- ⚠️ Candidates who do not meet the minimum qualification should not apply. They will be held responsible, and appearing in or passing the written exam does not by itself make them eligible for final selection.

- 📄 Written exam: 360 marks, 120 objective (MCQ) questions, OMR-based, 2 hours

As per the notification, the exam city is shown on the Commission’s website about 10 days before the exam, and the admit card with the exam centre about 3 days before it. No change of exam centre is allowed.

Shortlisted candidates must bring two sets of self-attested copies plus the originals at the verification date. The notification lists the following:

- 🎓 High School and Intermediate marksheets and certificates; graduation (1st, 2nd and 3rd year) marksheets and degree
- 📚 B.Ed / B.P.Ed / B.P.E. marksheet and degree, and the TET certificate
- 🏷️ Category certificates (SC / ST / OBC / EWS / freedom fighter dependent) in the prescribed format (UP-domicile candidates only), and the disability certificate where applicable
- 🪖 Discharge certificate for ex-servicemen; No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer for serving candidates
- 📝 Two copies of the affidavit (Appendix 6), the character certificate from the last institution, and two character certificates from respectable persons

💡 Important Rules & Tips / ज़रूरी नियम
- 🔹 Category, sub-category, date of birth and gender cannot be changed after the final submit. Fill them carefully.
- 🔹 Only one application per subject and category is valid. If several are submitted, only the last one counts.
- 🔹 Reservation benefits apply only to UP domicile candidates. Candidates from other states are treated as General.
- 🔹 Women can apply for both boys’ and girls’ schools, but must choose one category per subject at a time. Male candidates are not eligible for posts in girls’ schools.
- 🔹 Candidates already employed need a No Objection Certificate from their employer for verification.
- 🔹 Practise filling the OMR sheet with the sample available on the Commission’s website before the exam.
